Hey there my lovely readers! I finally took the leap and moved my blog from Blogger to WordPress, thanks to the stellar work from Tanya at Blogelina. I have been thinking of switching to WordPress for some time now and I knew that I really needed a site redesign. Blogelina was running a super spectacular sale on their Blogger to WordPress transfer and I pulled the trigger.

I’m very excited about this new blogging platform and I have so many plans for punching up this blog. So I ask you:

Today is my 31st birthday and I am so excited to have woken up a happily married homeowner with two healthy dogs and a bit dehydrated from sweating my butt off at the Marilyn Manson and Smashing Pumpkins concert in New Orleans last night. Some things you never grow out of!

Reflecting on how far I have come in my lifetime I am grateful to have survived this long relatively happy and healthy. It is easy to get caught up in the daily rat race and I naturally tend to drift off to worry, stress, and negative reflection on things that aren’t how I want them to be (like the bathtub that needs to be cleaned or the debt that we are slooooowly chipping away at). But all in all I have a ton of reasons to be grateful.

I have plans for more blogging and writing in the coming year and I am excited to share this personal finance journey with my lovely readers. Thank you for reading and keep on hustling!
